Manchester City forward, Mario Balotelli, is a private person who claims he doesn’t like his private affairs made public. Unlike many sports figures, Balotelli tries to keep his public sports actions separate from his private life and doesn’t seek publicity for everything he does. This includes affairs of the heart.

Italian showgirl, Raffaella Fico, is not so unassuming. Though the couple went their separate ways last April, Rico believes they can work out their difficulties, though Balotelli says otherwise. Her announcement that she is pregnant has put both of them in the spotlight. Fico seems to relish the attention. Balotelli does not, though he finally broke his silence on the subject. Balotelli made clear that he has every intention of stepping up, but only if paternity is proved. He has demanded a paternity test to prove he is, indeed, the father of Fico’s baby. Balotelli was upset that he was not informed of the pregnancy until his ex-girlfriend was already four months along. This brings up the question as to why she waited.

 

DNA from the paternity test will prove one way or another if the child Fico carries is Balotelli’s baby. If so, while he claims he does not plan to get back with his old girlfriend, he will take responsibility for the child.
